PROCESS
Electrolysis is performed by inserting a small probe into the hair follicle and delivering current to destroy the hair germ cell. After a series of treatments the hair will take longer to grow back, come in finer and eventually not grow back at all.

IS IT PAINFUL?
As with all hair removal methods there is a slight discomfort. I use brand new state of the art equipment for maximum comfort.

Waxing, Tweezing, Shaving and Threading are all temporary. Laser only permanently REDUCES the amount of unwanted hair and most lasers only work on certain hair types. Electrolysis works on all skin and hair types.

Anna Hewson is a Licensed Electrologist and owner of New Life Electrolysis®. In January of 2015, Anna completed 1100 course hours and graduated from The Electrology Institute of New England (EINE) - a premier institution for electrology. In March of 2016 she passed the State Board Exam and became legally licensed to practice in Massachusetts. Following her new passion, she opened her own practice inside Euphoria Day Spa, located in Auburn, MA.

For 10 years Anna was a stay at home mother. Prior to having children, she worked as an Executive Assistant for a variety of organizations throughout New England. Upon her youngest child starting kindergarten, she realized it was time to get back to work. After a conversation with her family and discussions about what she liked to do, she decided to go back to school and pursue studies in electrolysis.

When asked about why she chose this profession, Anna replied: “During my training at EINE, I worked on hundreds of clients and quickly realized how Electrolysis changed people's lives. It was touching to witness how these people started to feel about themselves. Self-confidence is truly empowering. Instantly, I embraced the enjoyment in being part of that process and fell in love with the profession.”
